so i promised that i would post every day about little things. today, we had sports awards, and it was in the main gym because the auditorium is under construction. i didn’t know where it was at first, but found it by following some sports people. basically we just went up to the front of the stage and got some plaques for iron hills all conference players. and then, as always, we went to the faculty lounge and talked about each individual player. that is always fun, because you can hear about the coach bragging about you, lol, and it’s always good to hear that, especially since the praise is modeled just for you.

i also decided to paint my white boots that cassy got for my birthday last year. they were white and so kind of high-maintenance, but after painting them, they’re so pretty! the colors are kind of circusy and busy, and doesn’t seem like something i would wear outside if it’s fancy or if i don’t want to get comments on it, but it’s definitely pretty with all the detail and weird colors ;] i used acryllic paint and i hope that that won’t wash off after slushing through wet snow, lol.

i think i still have a bit of my creative gene left, although when i got to the second shoe of the pair (they aren’t matching) i had nothing to draw – no inspiriation – so i just took blue ink and spread it out and had it look like a beautiful sky on a half of the second. i’ll post some pictures up when i get them on my computer!
